2026 Foundation is officially founded
Today, 2026 Foundation, Inc. was incorporated as a nonprofit in the State of Colorado. Founded by the Leeds Professional MBA cohort at the University of Colorado Boulder, 2026 Foundation will fund fellowships, grants, and community programs for the next generation of leaders, founders, and changemakers.
"We wanted to build something that would outlast us," said [founder name], founding director. "The name is not clever. It is the year we began — and we believe whoever inherits this work in 2066 or 2266 will know exactly when it started and what it was built to carry forward."
The foundation's first cohort of Fellows and inaugural grant cycle will be announced in the coming months.

Unveiling our mark: 240 rays, one mountain
Today we are proud to share the visual identity of 2026 Foundation: a golden sunburst of exactly 240 rays rising from a snow-capped mountain, set against a field of midnight blue.
The 240 rays carry meaning. Our founding class graduated with 240 classmates who chose to build this foundation together. And 240 is a highly composite number — with 20 divisors — which mathematicians sometimes describe as "the many ways to be whole." It is the right number for a foundation built on the principle that many stars make one sky.
The mountain is Colorado. The gold is light. The midnight blue is legacy.

A message to our founding cohort
To every member of the Leeds Professional MBA Class of 2026 —
This foundation was built in your name and with your support. What we accomplish across the next forty years, the next hundred, and the next two hundred and forty, will be because of what this class chose to do together in the year we graduated.
We will list founding cohort members here with permission. If you would like to be recognized among the founders, please write to us at hello@2026foundation.org.
Thank you for being part of what begins in 2026.
