Our Mission
2026 Foundation exists to fund and support the next generation of leaders, founders, and changemakers rising from Colorado and beyond. We direct our resources to the moments that matter most — the early, uncertain, formative moments when a small push can change the entire arc of a life's work.
We believe that the hardest capital to raise is the first, the most important support is the kind given before success is certain, and the most enduring institutions are built for the generations that follow us.
Program 01
Direct support for emerging leaders at critical inflection points — people who have the vision and the will, but need the capital, the network, or the year of focused runway to do the work they were made to do.
Our fellowships will provide financial support, mentorship from the founding cohort network, and connection to a community of builders across industries. Applications for the first cohort of Fellows will open in our founding year.
Program 02
Catalytic funding for organizations and initiatives building lasting change in our focus areas. We deploy grants where small amounts of flexible capital create disproportionate impact — helping great organizations do more of what they already do well.
Grant-making guidelines, application windows, and focus areas will be published here once finalized by our Board of Directors.
Program 03
Convening, mentorship, and connection. Because capital alone rarely changes a life — but capital paired with a community of people who genuinely want you to succeed often does.
Our community programs will bring Fellows, grantees, founding cohort members, and partners into regular conversation — in Boulder, virtually, and at a signature annual gathering to be announced.
Our Focus
Our Board of Directors is finalizing the foundation's initial focus areas. We are committed to being specific rather than broad — the best foundations fund a few things deeply, not everything shallowly. Focus areas will be announced here as they are confirmed.
